May, June, July, August and September are the best months to travel to Germany. In these months you have the best chance of good weather. Want to avoid the mass tourism, avoid the months of July and August.
German is the official language in Germany.
You must have a valid identity card or passport.
A visa is not required.
You do not need vaccinations to visit Germany.

Germany is paid by the euro (EUR).
Traffic and route
In Germany you have to drive on the right side of the road.
In Germany in designated environmental zones required to have an environmental badge for your vehicle. More information about these environmental badge is available at ANWB. You can request your badge online via Milieusticker.eu or pick them up at one of the ANWB shops (do not forget to bring your registration certificate!).
In Germany the same plugs and sockets are used as in the Netherlands.
The water from the tap is safe to drink.
